Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Calendar Events for Google Forms ("the Add-on"), a Google Workspace™ add-on developed and operated by BrightDesk ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Add-on, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Calendar Events for Google Forms is a Google Forms™ add-on that automatically creates Google Calendar™ events from form submissions. The Add-on allows you to map form fields to calendar event properties (title, date, time, location, description, guest email) and creates events when new form responses are submitted.

2. Eligibility

You must have a Google account and access to Google Forms™ and Google Calendar™ to use the Add-on. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Add-on.

3. Free and Paid Tiers

The Add-on offers a free tier with limited functionality and a paid Pro tier with additional features. Free tier limitations and Pro tier pricing are displayed within the Add-on and on the Add-on's website. Paid subscriptions are billed annually. Refunds may be provided at our discretion within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the Pro features extensively.

You agree to use the Add-on in compliance with all applicable laws and Google's Terms of Service. You agree not to:

Your use of the Add-on is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. In summary: the Add-on processes form responses to create calendar events, does not store your data externally, and does not share your data with third parties.

6. Google API Services

The Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Availability and Reliability

The Add-on depends on Google's infrastructure (Google Apps Script, Google Forms™, Google Calendar™ API). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Add-on may be temporarily unavailable due to Google's service disruptions, maintenance, or updates to Google's APIs. We are not responsible for events that fail to create due to Google service outages or API changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Add-on is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrightDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Add-on. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from missed appointments, scheduling errors, or incorrect calendar events. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Add-on in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Add-on or any of its features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. If we discontinue the paid Pro tier, active subscribers will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of their subscription.

10. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it from your Google Form™. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Add-on if you violate these Terms.
