This privacy policy describes how Sheet Health Check ("the Add-on") handles your data. We take your privacy seriously and designed this add-on to process everything locally with zero external data transfer.
Sheet Health Check is a Google Sheets add-on that scans your spreadsheet for formula errors, inconsistencies, hardcoded values in formula columns, empty formula results, and performance issues.
All data processing happens entirely within Google's infrastructure. The add-on reads your spreadsheet data using only two API calls per sheet (getDisplayValues and getFormulas) to perform its analysis and displays results in a sidebar. No data is sent to any external server.
The add-on requests only the spreadsheets.currentonly scope — the absolute minimum permission needed to read the current spreadsheet for analysis. This scope only allows access to the specific spreadsheet the add-on is installed in, not your entire Google Drive.
The add-on does not retain any data. Each scan runs fresh and results are displayed in the sidebar only during the current session. No scan results are stored anywhere.
This Add-on is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
